Healing
Lets begin with healing, whatever traumatized you in your past, I am sure you're tired of it haunting you. Let's begin with some extremely helpful things that help you heal. Things that have helped me in the past with doing these things (and others mentioned in other topics) DAILY! Yes, most of these I've done Daily as a process way of healing and understanding.
- Journaling
Write your thoughts, feelings, your wants, desires, and every little thing down on paper. Even if you think it's wild and never come true. At the very least you put it out in the universe so you can think deeper into what would happen if you DID get what you want. Keep writing and watch how much better you feel.
- Walking
Okay, get up, put this on audio and start walking. Walking is SO extremely good for you. Helps improve your mood, gets you going into an energetic mindset. Helps get your joints and everything moving correctly and naturally. You will feel better mentally after walking as it helps with depression and anxiety too. Get a dog if you have to, but do yourself a favor and WALK.
- Counseling
It's 2024, why should ANYBODY be afraid of Counseling? If it is, it's because you're not ready to deal with the trauma that has you so tied down. You can recover if you don't recognize what areas you may need improvement on. And that's Okay, it doesnt define you. The number one thing is to be honest and let your Counselor know that you're reluctant to be there if you feel that way. They will help guide you.
- Self Improvements
I'm the type that once I look better, I feel better. I am not talking about looking good for other people, but for myself. Am I completely comfortable in what I'm wearing and what I'm portraying myself as? Put a little time and effort and a little change OUTSIDE your comfort zone does wonders! Buy that red lipstick! Buy that bold shirt and rock it because YOU love it. That's where your confidence comes from, feeling good and comfortable in your own skin.
- Re-Vamp time!
Get rid of all that extra clutter you have lying around. Save up some funds or buy some things off marketplace and revamp Your living space to what comforts YOU. This is YOUR area, put some pictures of to frequently make you smile, or quotes that make you think positive. Have a garage sale, or sell stuff on your local Facebook groups. Getting your space together to where your comfortable and clean environment will make you have a complete comfortable clean thought process.
Please share with me any other things that may have helped you or you think could be added to this list. I'm all about a helpful village, and you are my village. ♥️
